Education

I'm a pure mathematics MSc student at ELTE, my BSc thesis was about extremal graph theory. I'm planning to do the PhD as well as a researcher. My main interests are extremal graph theory, number theory, geometry, classical and linear algebra and measure theory.

Experience

I was always interested in maths, from the age of 8 I participated in many national competitions with quite good results. During grammar school I was studying in a math specialized class and I visited math camps and study groups frequently, so my interest in mathematics and my success in national and international competitions increased exponentially, I didn't make it to the Olympics though. That also means that I'm up to prepare my students for competitions as well. Since the age of 16 I had many students from secondary school and from university (but I'm helping elementary school students with pleasure too) and I like teaching a lot. Until now I only taught in Hungarian, but since I usually read maths in English and C1 level language exam, I'm sure the language will make no difference. Maybe I can also help with some computer related math problems (GeoGebra, CAD, MATLAB, Maple) or LaTeX. As a mathematician I have experience in the following deeper subjects: Calculus (sequences and series, limits, differentiation, Riemann-integral, same with more variables, vector calculus) Algebra (polynomials, linear algebra, groups, rings, fields) Combinatorics Number Theory Graph Theory Geometry (axiomatic geometry, Euclidean geometry, hyperbolic geometry, projective geometry, a bit of finite geometry) Differential Geometry Set Theory Topology (general topology, a bit of algebraic topology) Complex Function Theory Functional Analysis Differential Equations Partial Differential Equations Measure Theory Probability Theory Algorithms Numeric Methods (matrices, linear equation systems, eigenvalues, roots of functions, integrals, differential equations) Operation Research Statistics Theory of Computation
